My Stolen Child Add Video

Loreena McKennitt is an artist who has influenced many people's lives with her interpretations of ancient poems and words of wisdom, channelled though her heart and beautiful voice. Thank You Loreena as you inspired me to createn this film as a mature student for my final major project. I had your voice, Mother Nature surrounded me, my friend was a beautiful dancer, Yeats, called and all came together in my little film. I got a distinction for it but the best distinction would be for people to understand what this young girl is saying to you.

The music has so much feeling in it. And with the dancing it touched my inner soul.

Hi Birdy, I had the very great fortune today to meet you at Wespoint in Exeter. I was the lady that was talking to you about the fairy festivals in Cornwall (I will definitely get the contact details of those we discussed to you very soon). I absolutely love this film, what a surprise at the end, I really didn't expect that. It's no wonder at all that you received a distinction, you wholeheartedly deserve it. Wonderful. I hope very much that I'll be able to come to your classes in Totnes next time you do them. I've bookmarked your website and look forward to meeting you again in the not too distant future. I've also watched your DVD since I got home from the craft fair and I can tell you now I'm totally hooked.

I dedicate this film to Sid Rawle who journeyed to the next World yesterday 31st August 2010.

When I first attended a Rainbow Spirit Camp about 10 years ago, I felt a sense of belonging. I realised that I AM someone, that we ALL have something to offer. Sid lived his dream and inspired so many to wake up and realise thier potential. That WE ALL can make a difference. I left that first camp feeling a strength I had never felt before. We CAN make a difference. Thank You Sid, I studied film making and produced this film that I know you would have liked. Journey well Dear Friend untill we met again. Blessed be. Birdy

Thanks Dana. The film means a lot to me as well. Loreena McKennit is my favourite singer and her music has been around me through all sorts of situations during my life. I saw her perform at a concert in London. What a wonderful lady.

Birdy this was awesome. You are so talented, it's not fair for one woman to have so much talent...lol. The story was amazing and then to find out it was in her minds eye. Made me tear up. Great Job!!!!
